I bought this jewellery chest from a second hand shop a while ago with the intention of revamping it, underneath the yellowing varnish was a nice solid wooden chest of drawers, definitely worth saving! The fronts of the drawers were covered with an adhesive paper that was beginning to peel in places, so I removed it all and had already started to rub it down to get rid of the tacky glue residue. 

I repainted the chest with some cream chalk paint, and decoupaged the drawers with some pretty paper and a couple of coats of matte Mod Podge to seal. A nice little afternoon project, and some more storage for all my crafty bits and bobs!
